It is because we don’t have any healthcare facilities there. During my 22 days stay in Passu, I lived in quarantine for 14 days. Doctors and committee members visited us for our screening and fi nally gave us a go ahead to meet our family members. God Forbid, if Corona spreads in the region then people won’t be taken to hospitals but will be put in quarantine with limited healthcare facilities. What about people like my father, who are diabetic and high BP patients and also with other illnesses? Moreover, majority of the people even can’t afford cost of hospitalization.
